Four-alarm fire destroys barn in Barrington Hills

BARRINGTON HILLS — The Barrington Fire Department was alerted to a blaze at 21089 Ridge Road in Barrington Hills just before 8:30 a.m. today.
After arriving on the scene, firefighters upgraded it to a four-alarm fire. A barn on the property was destroyed.
According to the village of Barrington Hills, a firefighter was injured, but treated and released.
