Mundelein driver indicted in fatal DUI crash

A Mundelein man has been indicted by a Lake County grand jury on first-degree murder, reckless homicide and aggravated DUI charges.
Mark Oelerich, 22, is accused of a being involved in a motor vehicle crash that killed Round Lake Beach man Araceli Villasenor, 24.
The collision happened Nov. 27 in the area of Cedar Lake Road, north of Route 120, according to Round Lake Police. Villasenor had three children in the vehicle when the collision happened and were transported to a hospital with injuries, authorities said.
Oelerich is in custody at Lake County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond. He is due for arraignment Jan. 8.
Grand jurors also indicted a Zion man who failed to escape from a courtroom after a jury convicted him of drug charges. Keevan Fullwiley, 35, was indicted on charges of aggravated battery, escape and threatening a public official.
Fullwiley was in Courtroom 220 in late November when a jury convicted him possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. When the judge ordered the courtroom deputy to take him into custody, Fullwiley jumped from his chair and struck the deputy in the face with his fist and elbow.
Deputies wrestled him to the ground until they gained control of him by using a Taser. The deputy who was attacked received two staples in his elbow.
Fullwiley is due for arraignment Jan. 3 and remains in custody on bond of $250,000.
