One person dead in Northbrook crash

NORTHBROOK — At least one person was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash Thursday in Northbrook, authorities said.
At least one person died in the crash, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, though they declined to release further information.
The crash happened about 3:45 p.m. at Dundee Road and Skokie Boulevard and appeared to involve four vehicles ‑ at least one of which was flipped on its side.
The initial emergency dispatch called for extrication, indicating someone was trapped in a vehicle.
At least two ambulances left the scene with people involved in the crash. No further details were available.
