NORRIDGE — The Ridgewood High School marching band outnumbers the football players on the field, with about 110 students playing instruments and waving flags in the color guard.

Students start rehearsing two weeks before school starts. Apart from the home football games, and a few away games, the band performs during the homecoming parade.

“The students enjoy adding to the entertainment and excitement of our home football games by being in the marching band,” Band Director Steve Klaus said.
