Ela Library hosts Nightclub at Noon

LAKE ZURICH — The Ela Area Public Library hosted its annual Nightclub at Noon event Feb. 1 for adults 55 and older.
“It was wildly successful,” said Christie Wagner, the library’s outreach coordinator. “It’s just always a lot of fun.”
This year’s theme was Dixie Land Jazz, featuring a seven-piece band. Gumbo and cornbread were served.
“We try to keep the theme throughout the event,” said Wagner, explaining that the library has hosted the popular event at least 10 times.
“It’s something fun in the middle of winter,” she said.
