Students on the Teen Advisory Board at the Northbrook Public Library painted papier mache hot air balloons to decorate the Youth Services section of the library Nov. 15.

The balloons go along with the theme of the library’s Family Winter Reading Club which encourages families to read together over the holiday season.

The Teen Advisory Board includes about two dozen teens between 6th grade and 12th grade and meets several times a year.

They help decide how to decorate the library’s Teen Loft, among other things.
