RIVER FOREST Twice within the past eight days, narcotics investigations triggered by information gained during street stops by River Forest patrol officers culminated in take-downs of local drug operations. One of those street stops occurred in early May. That led to the arrest May 9 of three Maywood men on heroin and other drug-related charges. The other street stop occurred in 2009.
